Who I am
Hello I am Emily.
I have been interested in farming ever since I was a little girl following my dad around the farm. I graduated from Horton High School in 2010 and then received my Plant Science diploma from the Nova Scotia Agriculture College in 2012. I started growing vegetables after my first year of college and sold them at my roadside stand. After I graduated from the NSAC, I expanded my vegetable acreage, bought a small flock sheep and a llama, and started selling my produce at the Wolfville Farmers Market. In my third season I expanded again and started a small CSA program. Then I got 4 sows and a boar and 100 laying hens.
